In the past, trying to eat vegan, or just trying to eat less meat, took a lot of shopping and planning. And even with amazing vegan products out there that are beloved by all kinds of eaters (like jack & annie’s!), they weren’t always in your local stores. Today, we are thrilled to be available in more popular supermarkets than ever before. You’ll find our vegan buffalo wings, vegan meatballs, vegan nuggets, vegan sausage patties and vegan sausage links in the freezer aisle and our vegan smoky sausages and vegan pulled pork in the refrigerated section.
According to the website ExpertMarketResearch.com, the trend is absolutely on the rise for vegan foods to really boom, stocking the shelves in more stores all over the country. Their research says the market for vegan food is being driven by the rising awareness of the health benefits of these products, and concerns about animal cruelty in the food industry and negative impacts of meat consumption on the environment. The trend forecast is that the market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 9% in just the next five years. Good news for all of us who are trying to find more ways (and more places) to eat less meat with more joy.
All of jack & annie’s products are vegan and dairy free, and have jackfruit as our first ingredient. Here’s our own exciting trend report on where to find us. We are now available at: Wegman’s, Hannaford, Sprouts, Meijer, Target, Giant, Safeway, Albertsons, Vons, Pavilions, ACME, Harris Teeter, Shoprite, and Raley’s. Find the store nearest you here.
